i cant find if its in the manual, but i asked my school's high jump coach and he told me that when your jumping off of 1 leg, if you drive your non jumping leg(the one you arent leaving the ground on) to your chest, you will propel yourself higher. i tried this myself and found it to be true. however, i tried to focus on this more than just jumping as high as i can which isnt maximizing my jumping ability. its very difficult(for me), but i found that if you can focus on jumping as high as you can(off of 2 leg) while driving your non leaping leg to your chest, i got an instant vertical increase
