Today was day one of my jump program. I can't believe how dead my legs felt when I tested my vertical. Pretty embarrassing, actually. I'm 53 years old and pretty active. I workout at home and the gym several times a week and play racquetball twice a week. I don't feel like I'm 50+ and I don't want to jump like a 50 year old either. My motivation for this program is a 3 on 3 basketball tourney the end of June. I play with some high school buddies. That gives me over 60 days of training. My teammates jaws would literally hit the ground if I stuffed the basketball during one of our games. I'm not telling anybody what I'm doing, so it's going to be awesome!!
Anyway, the one legged rim jumps were not impressive and the zig zags were not very quick, but I'm looking forward to seeing the progress.
