I wanted to ask you what an ideal schedule would look like in a week where I have a volleyball game every Thursday night and practice every Saturday afternoon (2 hours-long practices usually cause more fatigue than my hour long games). As of now I do the plyo part on Tuesdays and the lifting part on Fridays, but it seems that this schedule may be preventing me from recovering properly - my vertical gain has only increased by a half inch in about 3 weeks. Also, is there possibly a different program I should be following that may have a lesser load. Lastly, roughly how much vertical growth can I expect on a biweekly or monthly basis.
For reference: I am 5'10 and have been able to barely grab rim with one hand before but a couple of injuries and busy schedules prevented me from continuing training. Now I've come back to Jump Manual, where at the start I could barely touch the rim and now 3 weeks later I can occasionally grab the rim; however, I am concerned because I could grab rim after about 1.5 weeks after training. Basically, I have plateaued already.
Any advice would be amazing. Thank you!
